This privacy policy applies to the Kahf Guard app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Kahf Yazılım A.Ş. (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as- User Email or Phone Number during sign-up.
- The features you use on the KahfGuard app (e.g. Youtube Shorts blocked)
- If you have a public IP, then we see your public IP. Otherwise, we see your ISP's public IP.
- The amount of time spent on the other Apps.
- On Child Device, we get the App List & Screen-time for Parents to see.
- Device configuration e.g. OS, Model, CPU, Memory.
Third Party Access
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:Facebook SDK collects AdvertiserID and AutoLogEvents enabled, the SDK automatically collects: Google Advertising ID (GAID), app install/launch events, device metadata (OS, model, carrier, etc.). These are standard SDK auto-events and one of these are P-II data. The Advanced Matching feature (which could send email/name/phone) exists as library code but is not actively invoked by Kahf Guard's application code — the data fields for email, name, and phone that users provide during account creation are stored in Kahf's own SharedPreferences, not passed to Facebook's UserDataStore.The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
- PostHog analytics — our own PostHog self-hosted instance is used to store analytics data. We do not use PostHog cloud. User data is private within our data center.
- Session replay capability — No session captured or replay turned on in PostHog. Previously, OpenReplay was used, but not anymore.
- FCM-triggered data collection — FCM push notification is used to collect kahfguard feature usage data.
- IP geolocation services — detect user's location, language.
Third-Party Payment Processors
Kahf Guard uses third-party payment processors, including Stripe and bKash, to handle transactions securely. Your payment details are processed according to their policies, which you can review here:Data Collection
In order to facilitate the payment process, we may collect the following information:- Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, or any other information necessary to complete the transaction.
- Payment Details: Payment method details such as credit/debit card numbers, billing address, or other payment-related information, which is processed securely by Stripe or bKash.
Data Sharing
Your personal and payment information will be shared with the processors only for processing payments. By using our app, you acknowledge and consent to this data sharing.Payment Security
